In this scene, which is continued from last week, Christian and Anela went salsa dancing and the tension was building.
I wanted to leave — I wanted more, but I didn’t know what that meant.
“Christian,” I whispered in his ear.
He pulled me close to him, and we danced as one.
“Let’s get out of here.” I nibbled his ear and felt a shiver pass through him.
He pulled back, looking in my eyes for an answer that he must have found, because he grabbed my hand and almost dragged me out of the club.
